HAND COUNT COALITION Leaves Travis County TX Officials in Dust by taking Pilot Hand Count into own "hands" on Nov. 2 Media and all interested citizens and candidates are invited to observe the event firsthand to see how a fully transparent public election should be conducted, in stark contrast to the "official" election in which votes are counted behind what amounts to "closed doors", in total secrecy, inside the voting machines.

TX and NATIONAL Latino Organization Pass Resolution Supporting Hand-Counted Paper Ballot Elections! The resolution was passed by League of United Latin American Citizens.Last year,the German Federal Constitutional Court(equivalent of our Supreme Court)banned the use of electronic voting in German elections by ruling that a publicly observed count is a constitutional requirement and that no "specialized technical knowledge" can be required of citizens to exercise their right to vote and know their vote was counted as cast."

HR811 Alert! Tell your Rep to vote NO!!! HR 811 is NOT our only chance to take back our elections from the corporations that now run them with their secretly programmed voting machines.We should and must demand a better solution...A simpler solution...A solution that is welcoming of all citizens.We must demand a new bill that bans all electronic voting-counting machines, including both DREs and ballot scanners.
