I'm approaching 70 years of age. I'm a Navy veteran. I was a Fire Control/Missiles technician on the USS Longbeach CGN-9 in the "Cuban Missile Crisis...DEFCON-2". I received a BA/BS in Biology from Southern CT University. I worked on the LEM at NASA. I was a research assistant in orthopaedics at Yale Medical school. I worked many sundry jobs in many fields. I'm retired and living on the east coast of FL. My interests are reading, swimming, fishing and a few select friends. As a veteran, on several occasions, I marched on Washington in protest of our involvment in the Viet Nam conflict.
In a time of dynamic changes and gross needs when so much is possible. I note the immediate need for action but see filabustering pirates stalling the legislative process and find that We are dead in the water. I'm profoundly distressed and the future is not what it used to be.
