I've been a music critic for newspapers including The Kansas City Star and The Arizona Republic, and I'm currently a music teacher in the public schools in Phoenix. I've composed music throughout my life, including works on commission from the Chicago String Quartet, The Phoenix Symphony, and others. A lifelong love of philosophy led me recently to enroll as a student at the European Graduate School in Switzerland, where through summer courses I intend to earn my PhD.
