John Uebersax is a psychologist, philosophy writer and mathematician who lives in the Central Coast area of California. His current interests include anti-war activism, cultural change and psychological applications of Greek philosophy. A former faculty member of Duke University and Wake Forest University, he also performed policy research at the prestigious RAND Corporation think-tank, and specialized in clinical trials research at leading biotechnology firms like Amgen, GlaxoSmithKline and Roche Diagnostics. As a mathematician, he has done pioneering work in the measurement of agreement and consensus.
