I've been widowed twice, have lost a beloved son to AIDS, and am 83, surprisingly enough given my overactive persona. That includes earlier work as a guidance counselor in a school system and social worker in a community mental health center. A lifelong writer who couldn't seem to get published and finally did it myself this year with a novel called "Rifts and Fault Lines", I'm caught up, too, in world events. My two children feel this is overdone. Much that I do and feel is and will be until death arrives in whatever guise. In peace, Cynthia Fisk
