Environmental Scientist Recent Experience: Provided support for the resource management and construction group. Ecological and technical consulting including project planning, field work, permitting and implementation for the energy services group, industry and military clients. Technical responsibilities include wetland delineations, endangered species surveys, PNDI searches, function and ecological services assessments, proposal and bid development, GPS data collection and GIS reviews, specimen collection and identification, mitigation, remediation analyses at industrial and mining sites, report preparation, and field interpretation. Some oversight of junior team members, planning and procurement. Provided field investigations, conducted desk top reviews of GIS and published materials, botanical surveys and mitigation efforts for endangered and threatened Species of Special Concern. Additional experience in wetland services (WET II, Function and Value: The Highway Method and ORAMS) obtained at Quantico and civil engineering projects in PA and OH, remediation efforts at NASA and floodplain mapping for NEPA projects. Industrial remediation projects include bauxite red mud studies in a tropical climate including the development of the work plan for the 1,200 acre site, and targeting plant selection for greenhouse studies.
