Will Obama heed Sioux Leaders? D.C. Press Conference The tribal chairmen of the Lakota Sioux are in Washington, D.C., and are asking federal officials to put an end to South Dakota's egregious human and federal rights violations of their Lakota children and families. Tribal Chairmen of the Great Sioux Nation, Lakota women leaders, and Lakota People's Law Project will hold a press conference: Tuesday, November 12 at the Washington Plaza Hotel at 10 Thomas Circle at 11:30 am.
