Your Freedom or Your Shoes What do you think is more important to you, your freedom or the stylishness of your shoes? In my experience, most Americans find the stylishness of their shoes to be more important than their freedom... even more important than whether or not their children and grandchildren will live in freedom.

Crimes of the State I'm only mentioning a few here for you who are just tuning in, just beginning to look at what all the fuss is about... what you have to look forward to if you continue to wonder why things in the good 'ol USA and elsewhere aren't going as well as they used to.

You can't be afraid of the truth and expect to remain free. Now we have a logical explanation for why our elected representatives appear to be so stupid: They are not free, and so our government is no longer of, by, or for the People.

Here's the new American justice system at work I'm sure Robert H. Jackson, who was chief of counsel for the prosecution at the Nuremberg trials, would think this advancement in modern jurisprudence is just the cat's meow.

Most of Our Men and Women in Uniform are Not Qualified to Serve It is not honorable to take an oath but not take it seriously. It's not honorable to take an oath when you don't understand what you're promising to do.

Declaration of Legitimate Government I wrote this some time ago but considering how our rights and freedoms have degraded even more since it was first published, it's worth reading again.

Moving the Trim Tab You only have to act in your own self interest even if is a bit inconvenient for awhile. If you can't find the self respect to retain your freedom, you are surely going to lose it. And if you're black, you're going to lose it again, which is doubly tragic.

Love is not a Feeling To love we have to unlearn those things we came to believe and live by, that were never really true... and keep searching for what is really true. Who we are, how we're being, is what we teach.

The American People Are Not Sheep That fear of the truth results--when combined with the same fear in the rest of us--in the death, destruction, impoverishment, and great suffering of peoples who never deserved and don't deserve to be treated that way, yet continue to be treated that way, because there's not yet enough of us to stand up and stop it.

Impeach the President, Dismantle the NSA, and Fire the top Echelon of our Military These people all took an oath to protect and defend the US Constitution and none of them are doing that. That's their job but that's not what they do or think about.

Don't Make Me Laugh What Bradley Manning did was what was required of him and of all of us under the circumstances... which is to say, to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against all its enemies foreign and domestic.

What we can do about the NSA and our Freedoms We all need to upgrade our courage and integrity. The NSA, and others, have destroyed the integrity of the internet and our communications systems. It is wrong for us to accept this. We don't have to. Here's one thing we can do...

I'm Supporting Rocky Anderson for President Anderson seems to want the same things I want. Essentially, I just want our children and grandchildren to have the future they deserve: a place to live where they have the opportunity to reach their full human potential, where all peoples live in peace and enjoy the full measure of freedom and universal human rights.

The Next Presidential Election Will Be A Referendum: The People will Choose Tyranny or Freedom In the next presidential election citizens will either ratify the government we now have or reject it in favor of a government that was originally intended by the Framers.

My Second Letter To Protestors If you're going to protest against "the system" it's important that you first understand how the system is supposed to work. Don't assume you and everyone else already know. Even some of our most brilliant commentators sometimes make mistakes or lose perspective.

You Don't Have to Occupy the Streets to Protest If it turns out that one day it no longer becomes practical for you to live on the streets and in the parks of cities across your country, you can actually continue your protest at home.

My Open Letter to Protestors and Other Citizens Who Don't Like How the Economy Works The unwillingness of Americans (including you) to do that has allowed ignorant and/or dishonorable people to be elected to office and remain there.

Our Forgotten Dream: Our Common Dream: Our American Dream Is there a vision of a dream that every American can work towards -- a dream that we all would be willing work for that would allow us to live together in peace?
