Robert J Koenig is a 72-year old Hoosier divorce', US Army 1LT with decorated Vietnam service, Harvard Business School Graduate, and father of three grown children. He is trying to grow up and decide what kind of job he should get. As what shapes a man (or woman) is perhaps more interesting than what he is, I offer the reader a sense of my life and interests. In 1989 I became aware that United Services Automobile Association [USAA] was plundering money that was the property of the syndicate names at USAA. The inflection point in my life as to the massive theft at USAA occurred at these three junction points: [1] A USAA claims representative, Norma Mendiola, told me that she didn't understand why New Yorkers like me lived in tall buildings that leaked all the time - and why the Koenig family expected USAA members to pay a claim from an exploded steampipe. [2] USAA unlicensed adjuster Richard J Froese arrived to tell me that it was unfair to the other USAA members to pay our claim for the $25,000 to repair our NYC 17th floor home. [3] Yet a third USAA employee, NE Regional Claims Manager Jeannie Morse, wrote me a turgid criminally-instituted letter that we had the wrong policy and the wrong limits - which was a blatant 100% lie. USAA is an unincorporated insurance syndicate - just as is Lloyd's of London. As I delved into this USAA practice of denying major claims using robo-signed letters, each one by a new, different, and completely uninformed clerk, one after the other, USAA's Robert G Davis, John H Moellering, Lester Lawrence Lyles, and Josue Robles became aware that I had locked on to their fraud. [nb: over the course of the fraud, I was written by 30 USAA clerks, each of whom knew less than the immediately prior clerk. It was if a virus of stupidity and criminal obfuscation had overcome USAA attorneys-in-fact Robert F McDermott and Robert T Herres.] Robert G Davis, John H Moellering, Lester Lawrence Lyles, and Josue Robles sent two Nassau County NY sheriffs to arrest me and lock me up in solitary confinement in the Nassau County Jail. From that point forward - I knew the game was on.
