D. H. Kerby is a poet and writer based in Los Angeles and is the author of IT FELL FROM THE SKY, IT MUST BE OURS: A POEM FOR PEACE WITH JUSTICE, out on Blitz Publications of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He was active in the anti-apartheid movement, assisting political prisoners and their families in Cape Town soon after Mandela's release from prison. He is the son of Phil Kerby, whose 1976 editorials against excessive government secrecy won the Pulitzer Prize.
