Once again there is a need to assist the efforts of various
animal welfare groups, helping to slow down or end the
slaughter of Dolphins (in Taiji, Japan) and the Whales
in the Southern Oceans. The hunting season starts soon.
I've enclosed a few articles, 'Aussie town dumps...' gives a
picture of the seriousness of the degree of caring people are showing in Australia -cutting off family and friends of many
years in order to support the cause of protest and safety for the Dolphins near Japan.
Also, I've enclosed the websites of a few of the groups working
on these campaigns; and an excellent compendium of up to
100 groups wordwide involved in helping the Whales and Dolphins.
The new Documentary, 'The Cove' seems well worth watching
with previews/trailers on the websites.
'Whales Sing to the Stars' is especially moving...
The Interview on the Larry King Show is excellent with the
Captain and Crew of the Steve Irwin, the Sea Shepherd Group.
Let's us do what we can to help and pass this on to others.
