I have over the last 30 of my 65 years on this "fun house ride" become a a keen observer of human behavior, including body language, eye movement and vocal inflection.
On the night of his election President Obama walked out on the stage to address the guests and the skewed news? media. That was almost immediately following his initial "intelligence" briefing, a session which appeared to have noticeably subdued his presence. I allowed for fatigue but his walk and his posture seemed that of someone who had just lost their enthusiasm for what they thought would be an opportunity to correct some of the very obvious mistakes of his predecessor.Â
There was an undertone in his voice that sounded like he had just
finished listening to someone TELL him how things were going to proceed
during "his" administration. I would wager the primary among several points regarded some of the major money and military
issues two that are always related and at the top of every politician's agenda along with preventing the criminal prosecution of bankers who robbed their millions of investors, then the U.S. treasury. Not so difficult a task when
aided and abetted by the occupant of the oval office Oily George Bush and his boss "Invisible" Richard Blackwater -I mean-Cheney.

Now after a trillion dollar bailout of WALL STREET'S FRAUDULENT REAL ESTATE SCHEME (made Madoff's ponzi program look like peanuts.) they are howling about HIS lack of fiscal responsibility.

I gave up violence almost 30 nyears ago, when my powers of reasoning began to recover from twenty+ years of self administered anesthesia BUT when I hear that kind of UTTER bull flatulence issuing from the oral orifice of an allegedly educated, reasonably articulate SWORN member of that formerly august body, my most fervent desire instantly becomes the ability to be in the same room with that insulting individual who is not only an insult to our Nation and our species he is also insulting the intelligence of everyone who voted for him or, in the case of Madam Michelle Bachman, her. She might actually be that stupid but I know some of those senior senators are way too smart to believe the current administration is responsible for any of this mess including our mired military.Â
OBAMA"S WAR MY POSTERIOR!...George Babbling Bush and his cardio impaired BOSSMAN initiated those useless campaigns and the same Military Minions who buried the Bush Bunch under reams of erroneous evidence have succeeded in CONvincing Obama that we are accomplishing anything but higher body counts, bankruptcy, deteriorating foreign relations and increasing domestic descent, even if the cowards of our lying corporate media won't air coverage of anti-war demonstrations...another example of B.B's oppression of the people's voice. If I need to spell out who B.B. represents I am surprised you have read this much. Maybe you should ask your BIG BROTHER!
I was ready to criticize Obama because some of his decisions seemed so inept or even corrupt but after further observation and closer consideration of recent events it occurred to me that I was beginning to include some of the lies and distortions, a.k.a.propaganda, being spread all over by all forms of "news" media, in my thought processes.

Got to pay more attention to input content in this age of psychological manipulation.
Given the political and economic scope of the war being waged against the middle class and those less economically evolved I would not be at all surprised to find out that some serious threats were issued at some point after the Democrats victory including a few to Democratic congressmen. Not necessarily threats of violence but character assassination can be terminal to a political career and it is becoming a more widely employed tactic in each successive campaign.
I don't know if health care reform was initially an issue but, given the pathetic result of all the posturing and pronouncements I would, if I had to, guess that there was some "backstage pressure" exerted to prevent the public option and to insure mandatory participation. Creeping Fascism is the only phrase I feel adequately defines that inclusion. CREEPING is a term indicative of my denial that, since the supremely corrupt court decision to remove limits on corporate campaign bribes, this is RAPIDLY becoming a fascist state. A nation and it's economy being RUN (into the ground) by Big Brother- I mean Business.
That fact when combined with the flagrant disenfranchisement of millions of voters in the two fraudulent installations of bush and his boss, dick haliburton-I mean...cheney, leaves no doubt in what's left (or right) of my mind, that we are on final for touchdown at the airport in totalitariland.
Have your papers ready and prepare to salute our glorious new flag $...long may it wave 'oer the United Incorporated States of NAFTA!
