Long-awaited e-voting lawsuit preparing to launch!

By Press Release

ETC is seeking to have concealed vote counting declared unconstitutional! The timing of NY-23 fiasco can propel ETC's lawsuit into the national spotlight. Right now we have the potential to grow our movement into the multi-partisan national concern it truly deserves to be. And for that, we need YOU! If ERMA is not stopped, you will never again know whether the announced winner of an election truly got the most votes.

Long-awaited e-voting lawsuit preparing to launch!

ETC is poised to file our historic lawsuit: we're seeking to have concealed vote counting declared unconstitutional!

-- A prestigious law firm is working with us!

-- We are about to file the case!

-- With ETC's leadership, 20 NY counties, the Association of Towns, unions and other groups have officially resolved to oppose abandoning our trustworthy lever voting system.

-- Early rollout of the optical scanners (the new system mandated by the State's Election Reform and Modernization Act, ERMA) in the November 3 election, known as the "pilot project," failed dismally.

-- The optical scanners produced impossible results in NY-23, the special Congressional election(see side bar), bringing wider recognition to the dangers of concealed vote-counting. Conservative leaders are coming to ETC for help!

-- The timing of the NY-23 fiasco can propel ETC's lawsuit into the national spotlight. Right now we have the potential to grow our movement into the multi-partisan national concern it truly deserves to be.

And for that, we need YOU!

If ERMA is not stopped, you will never again see a lever voting machine in a NY polling place. And you will never again know whether the announced winner of an electionyou will never again know whether the announced winner of an election truly got the most votes.
