THE TIPPING POINT IS NEAR

Word Spy defines Tipping Point as thus; tipping point n. In epidemiology, the concept that small changes will have little or no effect on a system until a critical mass is reached. Then a further small change "tips" the system and a large effect is observed .

 

The tipping point is close at hand for the Bush Administration .

 

In the language of epidemiologists, fifty is the "tipping point" at which an ordinary and stable phenomenon""can turn into a crisis.

The opposition to the Bush administration now stands at 48 to 49 % but just one more serious blunder could tip the balance and send this plutocracy into a tailspin.

 

It is my guess that this will happen within the next six  months and will be directly connected to three developing events ~ events that the Bush administration will not be able to spin and avoid responsibility for.

 

1. The hijacking of the 2004 election by systematically barring Black voters.

 

  Greg Palast / Nov 12th; " this is the first time in four decades that a political party has systematically barred -- in this case successfully -- hundreds of thousands of Black voters from access to the voting booth. While investigating for BBC Television, we obtained three dozen of the Republican Party's confidential "caging" lists, their title for spreadsheets listing names and addresses of voters they intended to block on any pretext.

We found that every single address of the thousands on these Republican hit lists was located in Black-majority precincts. You might find that nasty and racist. It may also be a crime.  

Dr. Steven F. Freeman of the University of Pennsylvania has written a brief paper raising fundamental questions about the discrepancies between the exit polls and the vote tabulations in the 2004 US presidential election.

His conclusions are alarming, "Systematic fraud or mistabulation is a premature conclusion, but the election's unexplained exit poll discrepancies make it an unavoidable hypothesis, one that is the responsibility of the media, academia, polling agencies and the public to investigate." 

Dr. Freeman is the first academic authority to call for a public investigation of election fraud or computer errors in the 2004 US presidential election
 

2. The release of the second half of the 9/11 commission report which delt with improper influence by the White house on intelligence gathering leading up to the Iraq war.

    It is here that Dick Cheney's dark presence will be clearly seen as his office orchestrated misleading information via the Pentagon's Office of Special Plans  ~ which was set up to justify our illegal occupation of Iraq.

3. Iraq disintegrating into an organized and unified Iraqi resistance against the illegal American occupation .

   " As the US siege of the Iraqi city of Fallujah continues, Iraqi resistance fighters are stepping up their campaign against the US occupation across Iraq ... In other areas of Iraq, the resistance has taken control of some key areas of the country, raising questions about the US counterinsurgency strategy. Some analysts say the recent gains by the resistance are a direct result of the US focusing its campaign in a city where most of the fighters had already moved to other areas of Iraq. It now appears that the US is facing a dramatic escalation of a coordinated resistance across the country . "

And there you have it . The four horseman of hubris ( Cheney, Bush, Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz ) have mislead America into an illegal war, have spent over 200 billion on their neocon empire wet dream, have sacrificed the lives of close to 100,000 innocent Iraqi civilians, have spent the blood of over 1200 dead American soldiers, have ruined the young lives of over 15,000 seriously wounded American soldiers, have disenfranchised hundreds of thousands of black voters and have alienated the whole world in the process.

The day of reckoning is fast approaching but it will also mark an important step in our rapidly approaching shift from separateness and ego consciousness to connectedness and soul consciousness. 

 The tipping point is near.
