Dominic M Filanowski, II is a self-described writer-artist-activist and a cultivator of thought. He's a Philly-boy that truly knows the meaning of brotherly love. Educated in the field of graphic design, Dominic has a working knowledge of gestalt theory, basic principles that can alter perception. Along with his work ethic, Dom's handicaps enable him to present complex information in a straightforward manner.

An avid critic of US military aggression, Dominic is also distressed by the allegations of Chinese crimes against humanity. Dom finds the optics of exploitive organ harvesting far more troublesome than the CIA's reported plans to kidnap or assassinate Julian Assange, a development which is also quite alarming. Contrary to the perception of transplant reform and oversite within China, Dominic is deeply concerned about nonvoluntary organ donors who are apparently being classified as voluntary in conjunction with evidence that suggests organ transplant data manipulation.

In addition to his geopolitical concerns, Dominic dedicates a considerable amount of time to the development of his local environment (natural, social, political and spiritual). As a chairperson of the Bucks County Technical High School Educational Advisory Committee, he discussed the curriculum of attending students for revisions and improvements. Dominic would like every high-school graduate to have a comprehensive understanding of gestalt theory principles.

2016 was a transformative year for Dominic. His participation in debate-watch-parties and the discovery of a bottom-up oriented radio podcast further enhanced Dom's civic engagement. In 2016 and 2018, Dominic performed volunteer work, political canvassing in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He knocked on doors and interacted with the community in a way like he had never done before. This experience gave Dominic a better understanding of differing viewpoints, and it fundamentally changed his way of thinking.

While attending a seminar at Silver Lake Nature Center, in 2016, Dominic met several board members of Greenbelt Overhaul Alliance of Levittown (GOAL). Dom was present when GOAL's board of directors first met with members of Heritage Conservancy, an organization dedicated to the preservation of greenspaces. The purpose of this meeting was to assess the logistics of an extensive refuse removal project at Croydon Woods Nature Preserve. Collectively, Heritage Conservancy has protected more than 15,000 acres of open space in Bucks and Montgomery Counties. The first cleanup at Croydon Woods required a collaborative effort, excavation equipment and a considerable amount of labor from the community. Dom is proud to have been part of this effort. Sadly, like much of Lower Bucks, one of their other properties is the refuge of a homeless community. Dominic tries to spend time with them and donates supplies on occasion as well.

Along with several board members from GOAL, Dominic also happens to be an appointed board member of the organization's affiliate, the Bristol Township EAC (2019-2023). Both entities utilize the Bristol Township Municipal Building auditorium to host their monthly meetings. Regular attendance in GOAL's monthly meetings opened the door for Dominic to participate in his local government.

Unfortunately, Dominic's personal choice to refuse Covid-19 vaccination has led to his suspended participation in Bristol Township politics.

An advocate of both objective, empirical evidence and spirituality, Dominic reaffirmed his faith and reconnected with his heritage in 2016. While canvassing Bucks County, the app Dom was using directed him to a church that was selling pierogies. Captivated by a sense of community, Dominic soon found himself volunteering as a pierogy pincher, attending Divine Liturgy on Saturday evenings, calling numbers at basket auctions and learning about the Eastern Rite of the Catholic Church.

Before long, this Roman Catholic became an official member of the Byzantine parish and was given the opportunity to volunteer as a church usher, collecting church offerings, lighting candles, securing doors and assisting elderly parishioners in traversing the stairs, as needed. His deeds did not go unnoticed by a fellow parishioner, and the resulting bond that was formed led to a membership in the Knights of Columbus. Within a year, Dominic advanced to the honors of the Fourth Degree, fostering the virtues of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism, and he began to perform the duties of Honor Guard as well.

Dominic holds an elected officer position at his local council in the Knights of Columbus. He is the Advocate, a liaison to the community. Consequently, Dominic has organized cooperation between Pokrova Council and GOAL. Dom transports nonperishable goods from St Mary's Parish to Mother's Cupboard food pantry in the Knights of Columbus Food for Families Program.

The Forgotten Accomplishments of Donald J Trump Trump opponents seem to be parroting the same weak arguments against the former president, time and time again, and they seem to be doing it in lockstep. But for all the people who are still intoxicated by the elixir of Trump, here are some accomplishments that you may have overlooked.

"The Science" is not Exactly Science "The science" is not a true science but dogma founded on a biased assortment of facts. Science was used to gather these facts, but politics and media influence have been utilized to denigrate opposing scientific perspectives. The World Health Organization and the Great Barrington Declaration have both been criticized for not conforming to "the science." This political denigration is the antithesis of science.

The Unjust Condemnation of the Great Barrington Declaration Is the economic impact of subsidized housing the true motivating factor for the smear campaign against the Great Barrington Declaration (GBD) and the apparent majority within the scientific community? The widespread mischaracterization of the GBD amounts to what legal scholar Patricia Williams has referred to as "definitional theft" WRT Critical Race Theory.

Home Run for Julian, Philadelphia: Bases Loaded John and Gabriel Shipton, father and brother of Wikileaks' Julian Assange, are touring the US, the Home Run for Julian tour. Assange has been denied bail and continues to sit in a maximum-security prison, on remand, six months after a UK judge blocked his extradition, and the US DOJ appealed the ruling. Video and a transcript of the Philadelphia tour stop are provided along with my opinion as to the nature of the status quo.
