"And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain."
The above is from the Hebrew Bible/Christian Old Testament at Deuteronomy 2:34. This ungodly and heartless passage reveals the brutal mindset of the ancient Jewish clergymen who wrote the Hebrew Bible/Christian Old Testament. It also reveals the cruel and brutal mindset of the current Jewish state of Israel and its leaders as they wreak havoc on Gaza and the people who are barely surviving there.
To date, Israel has killed 34,488 Palestinians in Gaza with 14,500 of them being children and 9,500 of them being women. That's not including the probable thousands of bodies that will be found under the rubble of bombed out buildings across Gaza.
As this article points out, the root cause of the ongoing slaughter of Palestinian children, women and men in Gaza is the Jewish state of Israel's claim that God gave all of that land to the Jews for a Jewish state, for the Bible tells them so. This lie is found in the Hebrew Bible. Israeli officials actually state that this proves the land the Palestinians own and have their homes and farms on actually belongs to the Jews and the Jewish state of Israel.
Thomas Paine pointed out that he did not believe the biblical claim that God gave that land to the Jews when he wrote in The Age of Reason,
"The cruelties that the Jews had accustomed themselves to practice on the Canaanites, whose country they had savagely invaded under a pretended gift from God, they afterward practiced as furiously on each other."
Joe Biden, who was solidly in Israel's corner until he realized that position could cost him at least tens of thousands of votes, asked Israeli PM Netanyahu not to attack the city of Rafah in southern Gaza where there are over a million Palestinian refugees sheltering. When Netanyahu said Israel will assault Rafah regardless of what Biden wants, Biden withheld a shipment of 500-pound and 2,000-pound bombs from Israel.
The reason for Israel's insistence on attacking Rafah with its over a million refugee population is claimed by Netanyahu to be to destroy Hamas. Since the military section of Hamas is more an anti-occupation guerrilla organization and not a conventional army, Netanyahu should know that as was seen in Viet Nam and Afghanistan, conventional warfare methods do not work in a guerrilla war. It's beginning to look like Israel's real purpose for attacking Rafah is Hebrew Bible/Christian Old Testament-based ethnic cleansing.
Israel should take this advice from Albert Einstein:
"Should we be unable to find a way to honest cooperation and honest pacts with the Arabs, then we have learned absolutely nothing during our 2,000 years of suffering and deserve all that will come to us."
All of us should take to heart this observation, also from Albert Einstein:
"The world that we have made as a result of the level of thinking that we have done so far, has created problems we cannot solve at the level of thinking at which we created them.... We shall require a substantially new manner of thinking if humankind is to survive."
Deism can be the "new manner of thinking" that will enable humankind to evolve and to survive. This is because Deism is a reason-based, and not faith-based, way of believing in The Supreme Intelligence/God. Deism is truly a Revolution in Religion!
