Bad prognosis for any progressive movement in the US
Capitalism is in deep crisis.
US Imperialism is in deep crisis-- the military structure that guards lords of capital today.
What is causing Imperialism to be in crisis?
We now have the rule of a class that creates nothing, that manipulates markets, inhibits growth-- they can't compete. So we see the rise of the BRIC nations.

Isn't Libya a good example of the USA trade negotiations.

In this renewed alliance with the Salafists-- the Muslim fundamentalists in the Arab world-- the US had to strengthen its ties with those elements and their backers in Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
How does the USA foment terrorism within the Arab World.

It looks like Morsi is trying to grab even more power than Mubarak had.

You might say that Israel's assault on Gaza was a bad strategic move for Israel and the US.
