You know what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah. It was incinerated because there weren't even 10 righteous people living there... only four were taken out before it was destroyed.
If we think we can live within an evil system, with evil practiced and allowed around us daily, and escape the effects of this, we are already too far gone, and our nation will disappear from history as another one that self-destructed and God "allowed" to disappear, or could even bring about its demise due to the evil.
Complacency, apathy, fear, cowardice, pride and vanity all blind us to truth about ourselves...
Rev 3:15 "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing' -- and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked -- 18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire... 19 that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see." NKJV
Rev 21:7 "He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."
Evil leads to death. There is NO other end it could possibly lead to. Evil destroys itself eventually because it is so counter to natural and spiritual law... the absolutes of the universe. When will we wake up to this and make a stand against it as a people? We are sorely deceived this very day regarding where we stand as a people.
Isa 3:11 "Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him, For the reward of his hands shall be given him." NKJV
We have forgotten history... even our own few hundred years of history as a people, and it is destroying us...
Hos 4:6 "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge,
I also will reject you... Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children." NKJV
Isa 3:12 "... O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err, And destroy the way of your paths." NKJV
This is happening all around us today, on most fronts, and we still don't understand what and why we have such troubles?
Prov 4:19 "The way of the wicked is like darkness; They do not know what makes them stumble." NKJV
Isa 60:2 "For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people;" NKJV
American's are scratch their heads and wonder why things are as they are. Now we know. There is a darkness clouding our collective thinking... some in a major way. It is childish, even moronic, to proceed through life believing there is no mental/psychological/spiritual laws which govern us... cause and effect. The entire universe functions under laws, so what makes us think we don't? Little kids learn that early, so why do we forget this lesson when we supposedly grow up?
As foolish as it all sounds to so many...
