In Cycles of Time Magic is Wrought
Unhallowed halls where evil dwells
In minds where dense realms have their hold
Where no warm thought casts its light
Here money barons hoard heavy loads
Then elusive Time circles round
Wide cracks appear where no light was
Down fall the systems wrought by greed
Unworthy matters turn to dust
Cyclic rounds of time and space
Turn things strangely upside down
What was held down will again spring up
And evil dominions sink into the ground
Pluto, Lord of the Underworld
Outermost planet and ruler of the soul
Every 200 years brings his solstice of cold
And unfit things die and in the grave mold
Inner Heavens: Heart Chakra Poem
Dark lay my soul under ego's hold
Hid from the light by mortal mind
Suffering and sadness was my lot
Until ego cracked and lost its power
Glimpses came of a new world
Where love and light ruled instead
Darkness melted and sunk below
The world of the inner heart unfurled
Realms within hide invisible worlds
Worlds of inner heart-magic
Vast storehouses of imminent happenings
Potentialities immeasurable
They are waiting our discovery
Our inner heart knows the way
Let go and realize who you really are
Take spiral chakra staircases to inner heavens
One of the big problems with spiritual growth is that many of the things we need to work on to progress are buried in our subconscious minds. According to the spiritual writer, Ken Wilber, we in the west have addressed this problem to an extent with western psychology. According to Wilber we in the west also trace the psychological development of the human being from infancy to adulthood. Wilber also relates that this is where eastern mysticism begins.
Eastern mysticism covers psychological growth from adulthood to enlightenment. It seems so strange that the lands where civilization began can tell us about the top of the mountain of psychological development and the lands here in the west, which are late comers to the human scene, trace the development of the human from its source. Hmmm!
But if you never get to a psychologist the intense trauma of times like these will bring up buried psychological issues and then the opportunity arises to clear these issues up. Needless to say it is no picnic. The best and the worst of us can be unearthed at times like these and if we handle it correctly then we can evolve as human beings.
In Genesis we learn that we are a fallen race. At some point the opportunity to set that issue straight will undoubtedly come to us. Now may be that time.
There is much going on at the periphery of this culture that is full of beauty and wisdom. Painful as this current cultural catharsis is, if it means that our highly dysfunctional culture dies away, and the culture in the wings can begin to take center stage and replace it, then humans may be able to begin to be what humans were always meant to be.
A missed opportunity long ago in our remote past may be ( in the great wheel of cyclic time) now coming around to set things straight, so that we can again begin to move forward after ages of being stuck.
We are meant to go to the stars. I am not talking about UFOs or space travel in outer space. I am talking about humble inner spiritual growth in inner space. I am talking about all of us becoming better people so that we can fix what is wrong with this planet. What is wrong with the planet is a reflection of what is wrong within us. Many are already on board for the new age and these troubled times will help us all to get on board.
We are meant, first of all, to be citizens of earth with all the love and responsible behavior that is required to be a hologram of planethood, one of Earth's human brain cells thinking planet-thoughts.
Clearing out old patterns of behavior can enable us to do this. And when old stale patterns of behavior are discarded we can realize who we really are, and that is potential celestial citizens of a magnificent universe. So dark times and facing our own Dark Side can be a wonderful thing. It all depends on what we do with the opportunity.
