Question: Why would AT&T, Verison etc. want or need immunity?
Answer: Because they have or expect to violate the law feel they should be able to do so without facing any responsability for having done so.
Question: Why did Bush push for immunity?
Answer: Because he has already or plans on breaking the law and violating our Constitution in order to spy on American's without a legal warrant.
There is NO OTHER REASON anyone would ask for immunity, unless they specifically plan to do something illegal and want to get away with it.
This is not about Democrat or Republican...this is about respecting our laws, our constitution and the rights of the American people.
The following is a list of representatives in Washington who voted to grant immunity to the telecom industry for violations of our wire tap laws. They have violated their own oath of office which demands they uphold the Constitution as a condition of their office. These representatives should be voted out of office at the next election.
Underlined names are Republicarats ( Dems who vote like Republicans )
The rest are Republican's who do whatever Bush tells them to do. Only one ethical Republican stood up and voted no, Johnson (R-IL)
