Friedrich Engels and David Beckham have became advertisement hero

Everyone knows Friedrich Engels had a socialist philosophy. But some Turkish advertisers have discovered his face resembles to English football star David Beckham's.

I don't know if this is correct or not. But some Turkish advertisers claim really Engels and Beckham have similar faces. And they claim Adam Smith of Political Economic Science resembles a Turkish music star (Hayko Cepkin).

A Turkish bank has started an advertising campaign and it says that the Turkish economy has kept up with the modern age.

The bank is claiming they developed some new financial products and that have followed new economic expectations. They use these historical economic authors and the stars of today while saying this. You see an Engels' picture with a shave and haircut by graphic design; you see him becoming the English football star David Beckham in the last frame. They use an Adam Smith picture in the other layout and he resembles Turkish pop star Hayko Cepkin after he has a shave and haircut by graphic design. Engels and Smith's pictures are representing the à ‚¬ËœEconomy', Beckham and Cepkin's pictures are representing the modern Age.

I think Engels became an actor at this bank advertisement for the first time. His socialist manner doesn't concern the capitalist people even if that people is living the hardest crisis of capitalism since 1929. Engels is like an advertisement hero for bosses and consumers. We could see Engels and Marx pictures at meetings about 20 -30 years ago. But Engels is the sweet hero for advertisers now.

Not only Engels but Adam Smith is presented with a changed image in this bank advertisement; even if Smith is more optimistic about free capital. And liberal economist John Stuart Mill's image is renewed, too. (But I can't learn who he is supposed to resemble of today's stars.) So we can now say that every economic opinionator, whether socialist or capitalist, have been renewed according to the new economic conditions. None of the old economic theories can explain crisis of today. Capitalism or socialism isn't hero of today. The heroes are Engels, Mill, Beckham, Cepkin and Smith pictures as advertisement.
