Now you can.
The Illinois Ballot Integrity Project will broadcast your experiences -- in your own words -- to troubleshooters, fellow voters, journalists, and public officials.
Simply post a note to our blog, the "Illinois Election Incidents Hotsheet," http://ballot-integrity.org/hotsheet
* Your note gets posted instantly -- verbatim, unfiltered, complete.
* No problem is too small to report -- add up enough small ones, you get a big one.
* If you captured audio or video data, you can send us copies to post, or you can include links in your report.
* If possible, file your report on election day so that voters and troubleshooters get timely alerts. (But don't worry, we'll be welcoming new reports for a month afterwards.)
Didn't bump into any problems? Great! Then visit our Hotsheet and see whether problems that others had might be watering down your vote.
As citizens, we need to become informed of the full set of problems that are afflicting our elections -- during campaigns, during registering, at the polling place, or even while just seeking information.
It's past time that we grabbed these problems by the horns.
You bring the problems. We'll bring the "bullhorn."
