Rob Kall Conference/Interview with Dr. David R. Griffin and cohost Jon Gold (Transcribed 9-21-08 by Barbara Bales and Jay Farrington )
Kall: Hello, Hello
Gold: This is Jon. Is this Rob?
Kall: Hi, it’s Rob yeah. Well we should have our producer on in a moment, and then we usually hear a minute of the end of the preceding show, and then we’ll go on. I'll introduce, I'll go live, introduce you, and then we can start. And I think, I think what we want to do is just start with some real basics, you know?
Gold: No, that’s fine. One thing I would like to do is express our condolences to the 2,972 families that lost someone that day.
Kall: Okay.
Gold: You know, that’s a big part of why I do what I do. I don’t want to get into it in the big part of the interview, but 9/11 family member Bob McElvey, in 2004, at the 9/11 Omission hearings which were chaired by then Representative Cynthia McKinney, in New York City, it was the first family member I was exposed to crying, because they weren’t getting the answers that they sought. So he was a big (unintell) for me. All of the family members, Laurie, (unintell) Patty, Monica. They are just national treasures.
Kall: They are. I have met a couple of the Jersey girls.
