Yesterday, about 100 people came together to protest the planned opening of a drone command center at the Willow Grove Naval Air Station.
They brought a message-- Drones kill innocent people. A drone base could attack terrorists, even a dirty bomb, to the area. Activist and Viet Nam war vet Bill Perry asked, "Willow Grove, Warminster, Warrington-- do you want a dirty bomb here?"
Below, I've assembled a series of photos of protesters at the action. Following the photos are words and links from the facebook page for this event. After the first photo, there's a ten minute video of Bill Perry speaking.
STAND UP and SPEAK OUT. Join us in protest of the proposed Horsham reaper command center. Rise up against the unsanctioned killing of innocent civilians via Reaper Drones. Help raise awareness while this is still fresh - this is so much bigger than a handful of "good american jobs". This program is wrong. This is our town - It's our obligation to stand up and say something about it.
