Dear President Obama:
You promised on November 3 , 2007 to walk the picket line in defense of any attempt to take away the collective bargaining rights of American citizens. Your speech was recorded in this video.

You said: "And understand this: If American workers are being denied their right to organize and collectively bargain when I'm in the White House, I'll put on a put on a comfortable pair of shoes myself. I'll walk on that picket line with you as President of the United States ."
Instead
when you heard that members of administration were there standing in support of unions, you reined them in, and when people ask why you haven't spoken out on this issue, your press spokesman Dan Pfeiffer says, [The public] want him leading the country; they don't want him serving as a cable commentator for the issue of the day,"
So I'm sending you a pair of shoes, Mr. President, and I want you to use these shoes to walk on that picket line like you promised.
Signed....... [Paul Barrow of United Progressives]
