Is bull crap in
My neighborhood.
You cut and ran
Without a fight,
When things got tough
You turned right.
You came around
And spoke of change,
The truth you tried
To rearrange.
Don't pretend you didn't know;
They rounded up dissent,
Democracy came,
And now it went.
Now your rap is wearing thin,
You want our help
So YOU can win.
You say it with your jackal grin:
The crazy side
Is gonna rule;
Please come home
You liberal fool.
Not this time,
I say at last.
You've fooled me
In the recent past.
Let the right
Save us all,
Roll back healthcare
And have a ball.
When the people
Realize you're ALL corrupt
Time will tell,
But so abrupt.
So you can't count on me
With all your incremental mockery.
I may be poor, but I can see;
The corporatists run the
Whole damn show;
Don't say it isn't so,
And act as if you didn't know.
