Hello Friends,
I want to tell you about a new documentary that is generating a lot of
interest in the Election Integrity community (full disclosure: I was
interviewed for and appear in the film, but I have no financial interest
in it at all).
The movie is called Uncounted: The New Math of American Elections
<http://www.uncountedthemovie.com/>.
The film is directed by David Earnhardt
<http://www.uncountedthemovie.com/about-the-film-flimmakers.html> and
features interviews with EI heroes and activists Bev Harris of Black Box
Voting <http://www.blackboxvoting.org/>, Brad Friedman of BradBlog
<http://www.bradblog.com/>, Russell Michaels (director of Hacking
Democracy <http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0808532/>), Bruce Funk
<http://www.bradblog.com/?cat=30>, and other people who have been
personally involved in the Election Integrity movement, people who have
been trying to preserve our democratic republic in the face of almost
limitless opposition, massive and well-funded voter disenfranchisement
efforts, and repeated violations of one of our most basic rights as
citizens; the right to vote and have our vote counted accurately.
excellent film. It lays out the facts without hyperbole or hysteria,
and also gives solid advice on what you can do to help save your democracy.
There is a trailer on You Tube
<http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nJz09T0HME>, and I hope you'll take a
moment to watch it, recommend it, and leave comments.
Also, Brad Friedman of BradBlog has posted an item
<http://www.bradblog.com/?p=5218> about the film. Brad says it best:
"Uncounted is an absolute must see for anyone interested in saving
American democracy and, I might add, a perfect film for use at
screenings, fundraisers, and house parties to get folks fired up and
hitting the streets before 2008."
Thanks for your interest, and I hope you'll help me promote this film
and its important message.
Thanks,
