A new President will soon be sitting in Washington. Don't expect all the promises from the new political team that will be serving the corporate overlords who placed them in control of our population..
Yes, CONTROL..., because that's what the "POLITICAL" government does.
Certainly, we know the political government does not, was never meant to control the corporate owners who OWN our industries..., OWN our jobs..., and, literally, OWN us!
You don't believe it? You say that's a real stretch? Well, here's something to think about..
Why was there a ten year freeze on the minimum wage? Can you imagine people forced to work for a minimum of $5.15 an hour throughout the last ten years, when during that time prices for food, housing, and other things we need were rising, as they still are..., and millions of Americans ..., not all teen ages in their first jobs..., but people with families to care for..., forced to work several jobs(if they could find any simply to make survival ends?
Obama, McCain, Clinton…, whomever…, will not fight for a genuine social and economic democracy, which would bring We, the People, into making decisions in all matters that affect our lives. Democracy is in conflict with the autocratic corporate private government, and most certainly with the present public political government where Congress and the other two branches…, the Executive and the Judicial…, spend all their time dealing with the promotion of capitalism rather than promoting democracy.
Our only alternative is to break away from this conventional wisdom straight jacket which keeps us tied to our present undemocratic social institutions …., begin a public dialogue which exposes the economic and political dictatorship we now endure, and prepare to send people to Washington who are in tune with the principles and program of a genuine social and economic forms of self government in all our socially necessary institutions…, namely civic and economic, as presented in my website .…………..…http://www.peopleforanewsociety.org/
For the well being of ourselves and our future generations, we can do no less.
