I had recently sent a letter of appeal to Senator Hillary Clinton as well as Senator Barack Obama, about the escalating situation and stand-off with Iran.
It is clear the United States may be preparing for an all out war with Iran. As if Afghanistan was not enough. As if Iraq wasn't either - all of which have failed miserably including the so called 'Road Map' that Condi Rice so proudly talks about.
Such actions by the current US President is nothing but a miserable attempt to cover-up his failures, and because of this, he chooses to target another country. I remember the term 'bullying' when I was in high school. The arrogant would pick on those who were not, or those who they felt were inferior.
Furthermore, the US also bluntly points out the certain violations that Iran has committed in relation to the UN Resolutions (two to be exact), yet does not have the strength to mention the numerous violations (more than twenty, and even more) by the self-proclaimed state of 'Israel'.
The blunders by the Bush administration is a signal to failure of a superpower, and the comments of President Putin reflect that. Bush was 'dissappointed' at Putin's remarks, but is angry at similar remarks by Iran or other Muslim dominated nations.
It is funny how the 'axis of evil' is now pointing back at the United States. The saying is true I guess, point one finger to someone, and you forget three are pointing towards you.
I am proud to be a Shia Muslim, and even more proud to stand up for the injustice and tyranny against those who balatantly violate their position of power. If legitimate power does not make you humble, then you have usurped it in the name of pride, one that would crumble like a scathing avalanche on a self made mountain of madness.
And finally, the US has always tried to hide their mountains of errors. It's time for the volcano to erupt and bring forth its flame of shame.
