Fellow Citizens, Voters, Activists,
How are things in San Diego County? Going from bad to worse. Deborah Seiler, the duplicitous paid Diebold Spinmistress, made San Diego's next Registrar of Voters? Michael Vu, the vote-thief-master of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, to be her devilish side-kick? Just what San Diego elections need--the
dynamic duo -- Badgirl and Robbing. That is not going to make San Diego a happy place for voters.
Seiler, Vu, and Mischelle Townsend, their pal, brought in before them, were in charge of seriously messed up elections in Solano, CA, infamous Cayahoga, Ohio, and in Riverside, CA. These three real election defection experts seem like perfect nominees for Keith Olbermann's Worse, Worser and Worst Persons in the World. They have demonstrated their allegiance to
Diebold and election Privateers and one-party (GOP) rule, over their allegiance to democracy in America, and to their employers, the taxpayers who paid them.
All three publicly and behind closed doors, advocated for, defended, acquired and used whatever partisan, unsuitable computer "election" machines they could get their hands on--at great taxpayer expense-- and they did little to assure honest elections anywhere, which was their job.
Thus they sold out the voters in the communities they worked for as election officers, again and again, and in so doing, have sold out their country.
"Armed Madhouse", the title of Greg Palast's new book, could describe San Diego County. The county's supposedly elected Supervisors (you never know with our Diebold secretly programmed voting machines) and their hired administrators hide behind metal walls at their offices. In their isolation they are 'madly' hiring proven election destroyers as Registrars of Voters for San Diego County. They are demonstrating such arrogance, ignorance and utter disdain for the People, for the County, for the Country--- that they must be seen for what they are --- agents of civil destruction.
They are declaring open warfare against honest elections in San Diego, against San Diego citizens and voters, against democracy, and against America. That is the Plain Truth.
Nothing but social instability can come from hiring Deborah Seiler and or Michael Vu or Mischelle Townsend, or anyone with their history, as Registrarsof Voters anywhere. The Citizens of San Diego, who are in charge in a democracy, can not accept them.
Frustrated citizens are really mad about all this.
San Diego County is overdue for Excellence and true Commitment to the public welfare from the public officials, administrators and employees it pays. We have a right to expect Exceptional Leadership and Unflinching Loyalty to democracy from all of them, and especially in the unique position of Registrar of Voters.
We must have election practices that assure trustworthiness, transparency, citizen involvement and verification, accuracy of registrations and of vote counts, and assure that every voter and every vote will be handled as carefully as one handles the flag. That is our Right. That is the responsibility of those who hold positions of public trust to provide.
'ELECTIONS ARE the VOICE OF THE PEOPLE; the sine qua non of democracy, the heart that pumps the blood through its veins. A Sacred Trust.
We have not been getting the government we deserve.
If it occurs, the appointment of Seiler and Vu threaten the continuance of democracy and peace in this County.
The Supervisors are on the verge of making a HUGE mistake, which they need to correct, or WE DO.
