Who's Afraid of a Big Bad Terrorist?
What would you do if, while on an airplane, a man with a box-cutter threatened to hijack the plane? Like any true fight-loving American, you would knock him upside his stupid-head as many other passengers join-in and kick his fanny down to the floor. It doesn't seem like a very fair fight does it? So why is corporate America treating these box-cutter weilding wussies as if they were a 50-foot tall Godzilla like creature ready to tear your city apart?
The war on terror seems to be the number-one concern for many politicians and news anchors these days. "Terror" is being touted by many fear-mongers as something that should take priority in our nations political agenda. Many of these fear mongers are running for office. Rudy Giuliani even went so far as to say that America would be asking for another "terrorist attack" if a Democrat were to be elected. The pro-war message here is that America must stay on the offensive against "terrorists" or else they are bound to pull another 9/11 type event.
First, lets say that the official government story of 911 is correct; Some Middle Eastern men from a cave hijacked some planes (using box cutters), were able to have our air defense system (NORAD) stand-down for several hours, and crashed a few planes here and there. No matter who was really behind this event, 3,000+ deaths is nothing to take lightly (this number is continuingly growing larger as fire & rescue workers continue to fall ill due to massive "toxic-dust" inhalation). Now, let's look at some other scary numbers regarding death tolls on American soil. We will use the year 2001 as our starting point since this is when the "big-event" took place (9/11).
Here are a few other causes of death since 2001 in the USA. According to the World Almanac, heart disease has killed more than 600,000 people per year, on average (more than 3 million people since 2001). Cancer has killed over 500,000 people per year, on average (more than 2.5 million deaths since 2001) Chronic lower respiratory diseases have struck-down over 100,000 people per year(over half-a-million deaths since 2001). Auto accidents have taken the lives of more than 40,000 people per year, or more than 200,000 deaths since 2001!
I think you are beginning to see the picture here. This was just a very brief list of causes of death in America. Many other causes of death can be found that far outnumber the death toll that "terrorists" inflict upon the people of America. It all boils down to that your chances of choking to death on a grain of rice is far greater than your chances of dying at the hands of a terrorist. So why is the war on terror is being preached as the be-all-end-all of our very existence?
Why don't the politicians rise-up and rage a war against the manufacturers of all these unsafe vehicles that are claiming so many people's lives (over 40,000 auto accident deaths per year)? Let's declare war against fast-food corporations (over 600,000 heart disease related deaths per year) and a war against cigarettes for all of the cancer that they have been linked to! The list goes on and on. If you are really worried about your personal security then you have far greater things to be afraid of than "terrorists" from the Middle East!
It's time to see the war on terror for what it really is: A HOAX!
For those of you out there that still believe the official government story of 9/11, you need to take a look at crime-solving 101. Who stands to gain from these "terrorist" events? Who has the capabilities of planting explosives in buildings while keeping it all under-cover of "confidential" and "private" for national security reasons? Who makes money off of the wars that these "terrorist" events trigger?
Once all of this evidence is clearly diagnosed, it's plain to see that the real terrorists are a lot closer than you think. Let's just hope that you do not vote for one of them!
