Am I to understand that our brilliant dim witted pResident is wanting a Law against "Whistle Blowers"? You know those people that have been doing the American People a service by exposing corruption, graft and usery in our government. The very ones that have given us one scandal after the other that manage to get swept under the rug before any meaningful investigations.
Seems funny to see Bush so set against these speaking out against government wrong doing when at the same time they have passed the Patriot Act which encourages neighbor telling on neighbor, (Whistle Blowing) children telling on parents, students telling on teachers.
Does this not smack awfully much of what went on under Hitler in Nazi Germany or has everyone forgotten about that?
I doubt very much that Chavez has put his country up for sale to the highest bidder, no matter what country is represented. I also doubt that the Chavez Family is known for making deals with their enemies such as making the Family Fortune by dealing with the Nazi's while we were at war with Germany. Is this not also called Treason?
Which brings us to the present day. "Dealing with the Enemy" or better known as the "Dubai Give Away", backed by another Bush.
Ohhh, you say it is not backed by Bush? What do you call it when a pResident who supposedly knows nothing about a deal who immediately makes the statement that he will Veto any bill against the deal? Said Deal now getting muddier and muddier. To the point that they are afraid of a cover-up. Now, that will be a first. We will just have to wait and see if Greed once again wins out. Knowing our government and the faith I have in it, Greed will Win. It has so far, why change now?
I have been told that what Bush is doing is not because of his Hate for this country but because of Greed and Power. Excuse me, anyone who would knowingly lead us into an Illegal War, knowingly send so many people to their deaths and injuries while at the same time cutting their benefits or outsourcing their services, going into war completely unprepared and using weapons such as Depleted Uranium, White Phosphorus and Napalm.
A man who has cut program after program for the elderly and the needy of his own country, and at the same time padded the pockets of the wealthiest of the country. Working hand in hand with companies such as Petroleum, Pharmaceutical, Insurance, Health Care and on and on. To me this shows a man who hates his country, a man who is out to completely destroy all we have ever known and held dear. This goes a lot deeper than just Greed and Power.
Or could they be trying to set it up that Bush is mentally deficient and not accountable for his actions at some later date. How does this affect all around him that have willingly backed his actions?
Here at home, six months later the Gulf Coast still looks like a disaster area and Bush is still using it for his stomach churning Photo-ops. I don't know what is worse, seeing the complete destruction or seeing Bush with his phony poses. Both equally sickening.
We are well aware of what a Farce our Elections have become. We have seen how the Supreme Court has been taken over by the Radical Right Wingers. We are seeing more and more of the Bible Thumpers, when I speak of Bible Thumpers I am not speaking of those that practice and live their Christianity but those who use it for an end, forcing their will upon the people through media and government but still enjoy tax free status for their organizations.
We have seen one scandal after the other from 9-11, Anthrax to Aides being found dead and no meaningful investigations. Might I also Note that these have been Republican Scandals by Republicans or Republican Backed Programs?
The most recent now being the Cadaver dogs and their Handlers that have gone to New Orleans and who are now packing up to leave because of FEMA. Once again proving how inept they are in dealing with the situation. Or, could it be that now Bush has had his photo-op it is no longer needed?
Amazing how there are always more questions than there are answers.
