ALERT - SIMPLE 10 MINUTE ACTION NEEDED
Currently the New Hampshire Primary and Republican Recount are under Appeal and your help is needed to take this to the next step. We must push for a full hearing.
Abundant evidence with chain of custody issues and procedural problems came to light during the recount and for this reason a "Petition for Appeal" was filed by Republican candidate Albert Howard on Feb. 15.
Your help is needed to put pressure on the New Hampshire Ballot Law Commission (BLC), the Secretary of State's office, and the office of the Attorney General to hold a full hearing. (The BLC is the legally prescribed avenue for appeal in NH.)
We also need to ask them when they will respond and tell them that we would like to be informed of their response to the appeal.
They must hear from many many people, because the BLC actually has the right to determine that this petition has no merit and just quietly let this thing drop.
WE must keep their feet to the fire. In a friendly way. We want them to get calls from across the country to put pressure on them to hold a full hearing.
We must not sound angry or hostile. Candidate Howard sets the appropriate tone in his petition and we must not undermine his efforts. Our best approach is to emphasize that NH remains a bright spot for the country in its publicly viewable election process. We want the BLC to make sure this is not lost. We ask them to please respond to Albert Howard's appeal by holding a public hearing and by agreeing to work with Howard to improve the NH system.

Thank you.
