This Friday, July 25th 2008, could be a day where a small portion of the Bush regime's long list of dirty laundry might get an airing, but if Americans hit the snooze button on this tiny window of opportunity it could be a huge set-back for the impeachment movement. Why is Bush So Interested in Our Vaginas? In the latest christo-fascist-taliban-esque move, Bush wants to put his John Hancock on an Abortion Proposal that would guarantee the religious right of objection to a medical procedure or prescription of a person working for a hospital/clinic/pharmacy setting that would supercede the reproductive rights of a patient, (women), seeking medical care. This could include oral contraceptives and emergency contraception.

Reality Versus Your Comforting Illusions Unfortunately, the issues that America faces, and indeed the rest of the world, are issues that will and are affecting each and every one of us, no matter how we shelter ourselves from them, whether by hoping and believing in the promises of a candidate or by ignoring the reality of these issues altogether and focusing solely on our own lives.

John Yoo and David Addington: A Study of Contempt and Unabashed Evil Somewhere in an American run prison a young man, a 'detainee', is bent over, his head touching his shins, his hands shackled tightly behind his legs and affixed to the bars of his cell. Meanwhile in the United States, John Yoo and David Addington temporarily disrupt their privileged lifestyles and leave their comfortable homes to testify before a House subcommittee meeting.

A Future without Impeachment Paints a Bleak Picture Main-stream media insists, despite polls that say otherwise, that impeachment is not popular and because George W. Bush is a lame duck at this point, impeachment is unnecessary. Is George W. Bush a lame duck? Is impeachment at this point unnecessary? What kind of future can we look forward to if Bush is never impeached?

Professor Yoo, What Have You Done? What's the big deal anyway? Why try to get some university professor fired and disbarred just because he wrote some stuff that supports what the Bush administration is doing? So what? Besides, the man has a right to free speech doesn't he?

Immigrants Sedated With Dangerous Psychotropic Drugs Against Their Will The Bush regime is a regime bent on dehumanizing people. In a shocking report on the latest outrage in the Bush administration's continual cruelty against immigrants the Washington Post article by Dana Priest and Amy Goldstein, entitled, "Some Detainees Are Drugged For Deportation," exposes yet another incredibly inhuman treatment being meted out to immigrant detainees.

May Day 2008: Powerful Protests! And a Requiem for Mainstream Media The crowds were huge, the marches long and the protesters were boisterous and loud. The ILWU proudly proclaimed that they'd had enough of the Iraq war. Immigrants proclaimed they'd had enough of the ICE raids.

Phil Donahue's "Body of War" Movie. A Review The simplicity of the story in "Body of War" may register with people who are against the war, but haven't really formed a sophisticated idea of the human cost of this war to the troops who fight it. This movie may have great appeal for those who "Support the Troops" while wanting the war to end now.
