Jeffrey Bruhjell is a citizen of the world and lives between England, Canada and the US. He successfully has encouraged several of his favorite Sushi Restaurateurs to remove the Aspartame laden Pink colored ginger slices they all serve with sushi and sashimi. The pink is the sweet Aspartame and natural ginger is yellowish-brown. They have happily removed the pink and now serve the natural ginger. The pink promotes diarrhea and headaches as well as the long term effects that cousin Jade points out. Ask your Sushi shop to serve the natural, not the Aspartame pink ginger. They will listen and you'll feel better.
