I am a writer living in bucolic Spokane, Washington.

It wasn't always this way, back in the day I was a restless wanderer. I left home and traveled to straight to Europe, came back and hitchhiked across America. I joined a carnival, then the Navy.

After the Navy it was time for me to become an upstanding, educated citizen. I went to college, three of them to be exact, and I still don't have a degree. Maybe I don't have a Phd from and ivy tower university, but I do have street cred.

I write because I am pissed off. I am incensed by the people who prevent us from becoming what we could be. Our country, and our world are in real trouble.

We who know the truth, and seek the truth, can set each other free.

In our previous interview, Mr. Fenstermaker called for an international investigation of our legal policy towards terrorist suspects. He also revealed a "demographic consistency" among the attorneys and judges trying cases related to the the war on terror.

In our previous interview, Mr. Fenstermaker revealed that the CIA was manipulating the defense attorneys representing the detainees. He also told us that the CIA had used the legal proceedings to enter a motion that will keep their secret prisons operating, despite a Presidential order to the contrary.

He is the lawyer for Ammar al-Baluchi. one of the detainees accused of taking part in the the September 11th attacks. In our previous exchange Mr. Fenstermaker revealed a pattern of government obstruction that prevented him from contacting the detainees, or representing them in legal proceedings.

An Interview with Scott Fenstermaker Scott Fenstermaker is the lawyer for several Guantanamo Bay detainees, including Ammar al-Baluchi, who will stand trial in New York for the 9/11 attacks. Mr. Fenstermaker has appeared on several talk shows and made numerous press statements in defense of the detainees' rights. He is outspoken in his criticism of US legal policy in regards to the -"War on Terror-"-. On November 26th, I spoke with Scott Fenstermaker by phone.

Scott Fenstermaker, the 9/11 Lawyer, Speaks Out Scott Fenstermaker has become the lightning rod for 9/11. He is the only defense lawyer mentioned in the upcoming trials of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and his four co-conspirators. Although he won't be defending them in court, he's been pilloried by the press for daring to suggest that these detainees have any legal rights.
