Progressive but anxious to hear all sides. I do not suffer fools gladly so may seem rather arrogant but can assure you I am not. I just want people to see and think beyond the myths they have been taught from childhood or the information they see or hear on the MSM. I may appear harsh in my condemnation of willful ignorance but the more you decide to investigate for yourselves the less mistaken you will be. I was a business consultant with a legal background. I left the practice of law 17 years ago and have basically retired except for personal business investments. I am of a progressive persuasion, I very much believe that a successful nation is one where all of the citizens have the basic necessities to live happy and productive lives. If that requires government assistance through a social net then so be it. I definitely do not believe that any ideology whether right wing or left should rule. Legislators and the executive branch of government must be ideologically flexible in order to govern for the benefit of all. I also believe that militarism is a deadly and very foolish goal or reason for a nation's existence. The military is a necessary evil in today's world and that is all it is to my mind. I have resided in three different countries in North America and Europe, have travelled extensively and still do. I have a major interest in World affairs, have associated with highly placed officials in North America , although not on a regular or extended basis. I do count two Supreme Court justices as personal friends (not US Supreme Court).
