I've come to hold materialism in great disdain and politicians in utter contempt. I see mainstream America as pods - brainless shells or props, just following a script given to them by the powers that be. I see the wealthy and powerful as idiotic, childish schadenfreudes, vainly trying to fill their empty pods by accumulating money and causing pain to others.
I see today's young women as ignorant and naive, blindly allowing their reproductive rights to be taken away one-by-one as they shop for the newest trends in electronics and fashion and catch up on the most popular reality TV shows.
I'm a lowly secretary with a law degree. I make $30K a year but owe nearly $200K in student loans and have no credit cards, no car, no property and no retirement fund. I am certain I'll end up in a privately run debtor's prison in 10 years.
