President Obama is on Wall Street looking for payback for all the good work he and Geithner did for the boys. They're acting coy but they'll come through for their best friend in Washington.

The Edwards prosecution is a mockery of justice. Like the nonstop assault on Don Siegelman, it suggest other motives. Why don't they go after the Wall Streeters and big banks?

The NY Attorney General called Goldman, Bank of America, and Morgan on the carpet for what looks like suspected fraud. Will we see some action or will they trash his reputation? Very best wishes to those who make the effort to restore an equitable legal system that serves the people.

Speculation reigns supreme in your nation's capitol. Who is next in line after the bin Laden operation? The bipartisan coalition directing the war on terror forgot one important fact about the security of the United States of America. It doesn't matter who they kill overseas, the assault on almost all citizens continues unabated at home. No one is doing anything to stop it. Only the financial and political elite remain immune.

We're not worth having around after 65, says Michael Collins. Why else would they want to kill us off? Ryan's Medicare proposal is an authentic death panel.

he proposed settlement will not move the evicted back to their homes. It will not establish a moratorium on foreclosures, running at over a million per year. There will be no cram downs forcing the banks to absorb part or all of inflated housing prices caused by a real estate bubble that the banks and Federal Reserve Board helped create. In addition, be assured that the settlement will not hold bankruptcy courts accountable.

(6 comments) SHARE Instead of a serious, no holds barred effort to revive the economy for citizens, the Republican and Democratic wings of The Money Party are fighting over which bad budget will be adopted. The Republican budget would make Ebenezer Scrooge smile in his grave. They want to privatize Medicare, trash Medicaid, drop supports for the poorest of the poor, and dig the grave for Social Security.
(9 comments) SHARE If you think Fukushima is bad, wait until you see what the nuclear industry has in store for us.
(6 comments) SHARE This was NOT supposed to be Chernobyl. Now it's looking just as bad and maybe worse. This isn't the "beginning of the end." It's looking like the "end of the beginning."
(11 comments) SHARE Is nuclear technology safe? Is it acceptable? Can we trust those in charge to tell us the truth? The answer to each of those questions looks more like no every day.
(10 comments) SHARE We now have the first frame of a total picture that defines the horror of nuclear energy. Those in charge are just warming up. They have more in store for us.
(10 comments) SHARE Japan's today is our tomorrow unless we tell the rulers that nuclear power is totally unacceptable.
(10 comments) SHARE Gas prices gone wild! We're about to embark on another period of let the markets take care of it. The Money Party manipulators are again jerking citizens around in the old bottom-up wealth redistribution program. Their "imagineers" are writing the storyline right now.
(2 comments) SHARE Doing nothing, like Congress, and trying to manipulate market forces, as the president says he might, are not the heavy-hitters needed to stop this latest rip off. They both buy into the belief that there is some sort of occult mystery to why prices are going up. Everyone who benefits will raise prices because they can.
SHARE When the IMF blesses a nation's progress for conforming to the economic policies underlying globalism, watch out! There is a popular rebellion in the wings.
SHARE It will not end well for Gaddafi, but it will end soon.
