Sherman Alexie wins Pen/Faulkner award for fiction

To quote, VP Joe Biden, this is a big F****g deal! This is a great honor not only for Sherman Alexie orIndian writers, but for all Indians. Sherman writes about Indians, for Indians and from an Indian point of view, a master storyteller who weaves pain and humor through his work so skillfully that you can't tell if those tears in your eyes are from laughing or crying. He's always been an inspiration and is one of the reasons why I write.
