According to the FBI, assassinations are "never" about politics, as was related to 60 Minutes and their discussion of the tragedy. They may have to take a second look at that assumption after the Gifford tragedy. It does seem like Loughner's decision on who to target was made for purely political reasons, ... "government grammar." But still the right wing spam persisted - Loughner was a left-wing militant for whom I was responsible. My position remained steady, ... Loughner had more right wing attributes than left and that it appeared that more than politics was involved.
Then days after the ordeal Palin posts her defense that she is not "blood libel" - an excuse that sounded more like an admittance of guilt than a reason for innocence. I point out the ignorance of her position and receive a smattering of spam defending Palin and bleating about how the left was out to get her. Poor dear!
Then I spot Beck on TV trying to sell his new book about how he was able to lift his way out of addictions to where he is today. I see Cheney espousing his theory that Obama will be a one term president. It's a plan of the far right to picture Obama in as bad a light as possible and that he is too liberal and too weak to win another election.
