Richard Gage, founder of Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, has challenged 400 A&E petition signers to raise their numbers to 1,000 by September 11, 2008. These 400 architects and engineers (along with 2,000 other petition signers at AE911 Truth) are using evidence pertaining to the building collapses (physical, visual, historical, eyewitness) to challenge the official story and who therefore call for a new investigation based on that evidence. After examining the evidence, many of these professionals make exclamations such as--asymmetrical damage can not cause symmetrical destruction!

The petition calls for a new independent 9/11 investigation, including subpoena powers. These A&E petition signers are professionals in the architecture and engineering professions. All agree, this is a very ambitious goal, but very doable. Already, an additional 200 signatures have come in, but verification of credentials is necessary before adding them to the 400.

To achieve this, Gage, in the past three weeks has set up a regional outreach structure, where AE911 Truth volunteers have been assigned to contact and assist these 400 petition signers. These volunteers, known as regional outreach coordinators (ROCs), have begun contacting each petition signer in their region to encourage and assist them in contacting their colleagues in the A&E profession. These petition signers are encouraged to ask their colleagues if they have the latest information on the collapses of the three World Trade Center buildings, and are offered suggestions on how best to present the information to others. The ROCs have accepted a target date of August 17 to reach all their assigned people.

Although early in the time period for contacting the A&E petition signers, many reports of very enjoyable exchanges have come in. These A&Es appreciate hearing from others who have similar concerns and experiences regarding 9/11. In many cases, the exchange has reenergized the petition signers, and left them charged to contact some of their colleagues.
