Hail the passing of time at Christmas

Winter solstice and a new year

Honor the past and welcome the future

Welcome everyone in cheer

Wrap the presents bright and pretty

Stuff the stockings, decorate the tree

Summer's work stored and preserved

Winter is time to share this plenty

.......

Cook the goose and deck the table

Empty shelves in the kitchen

Dress in warm clothes all the people

Make sure all the kids have mittens

.......

Bury every heart's injury

Start anew for time reborn

Reshape all within the physical

All that is not with love adorned
