Condemnation of the Israeli raid upon Palestinian relief ships is valid, and indeed overdue in light of the United States' long established prejudicial support of Israel in disregard of the humanitarian implications and who is right and who is wrong -- but even this treachery is magnified disproportionately beyond the significance of the U.S. occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan.
.
An unbiased question which I am certain will elicit resentment is: Must the Jewish state always enjoy disproportionate attention, even in its transgressions?
.
The current Israeli treatment of Palestinians -- reprehensible as it is -- pales in significance and treachery to the American occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan.
.
By all means, and for the first time, the U.S. should muster the integrity to support just and humanitarian treatment of the Palestinians by Israel -- immediately after we Americans muster the integrity to provide just and humanitarian treatment of the Iraqis and Afghanis, including evacuation of all troops, black ops, civilian "contractors," "advisers," and the monstrosity of what purports to be the world's largest embassy.
