A peculiar thing happened the other day. I was dramatically and not so traumatically torn down from Vimeo, where I was uploading more and more of my videos for use in my pieces as links as story enhancers (think: hamburger helper). I was trying to move away from YouTube which is owned and operated by Google. I'd had in weaselly run-ins with YouTube before -- them indicating once in a great while that I'd uploaded something that brought a copyright issue with it. YouTube struck me as all about the money and about gathering personal info about uploaders that I didn't and don't like. So, I ecided to migrate over to Vimeo, linking to more and more Vimeo uploads. I regarded Vimeo as a clasier joint. Boy, was I wrong.
The other day I went to upload a video and was told with cowardly banner message that I'd been locked out. Account taken down. I go, Wah?! No email warnings until after the deed, when an email arrived that said I'd been repeatedly warned about "ripping" and stuff. Check it out:
As I indicated, there were no "previous messages." The three strikes are retarded. In fact, they are all available on YouTube. The original indication from Vimeo was that it was the "Sol Goes In Peace " video that caused the blues. Old Edward G. Robinson, in Soylent Green, euthanizes himself and remembers how beautiful the world once was and dies slowly to surround screen beauty and Beehoven's Pastoral. But, as I say, available at YT.
The Deep Stater video is a gag. No conspiracy theory.
I note only the peculiarity of the "violations" coming after some pieces that have voices in them that criticize the CIA and wonder where Cofer Black is.
But it's Vignesh's closing statement that irks. Who is this guy? Another right wing slumdog millionaire brought over from the subcontinent to enforce Mumbai ghetto law?
