On this memorial day, the 50 th anniversary,..of the March on Selma, the End of the Vietnam War.. we have forgotten as we remember and honor those who died in their belief in their serving in the Military and our numerous wars such as WWI, WWII, the Korean War, the VIETNAM. WAR, Iraq I, Iraq 2, and on and on (don't forget the hidden wars we have started, which few know about, the overthrow of Allende in Chile in the 1980s. etc...).... MLK will be remembered as an Icon for Civil rights and more, but we will forget that 'probably' he was marked for Assassination for speaking out against the Vietnam War and against Inequality for the poor and all peoples.... While DemocracyNow today looks at the VIETNAM: THE POWER OF PROTEST... http://lessonsofvietnam.com//// which we must also remember.... which most have forgot and few even knew about.. Peace and NON violent Direct action... let's stop all wars.. and feed the poor, and do what we SHOULD do for this Nation
