"An aide to former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and longtime Hill insider Adam Jentleson took to Twitter today to paint a picture of a Senate in rebellion against their remorseless and reckless leader, Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY). The blame lies with spitefully stubborn extremists who struggled against vulnerable Senators sure to lose their comfy jobs if the package of tax cuts for the rich masquerading as a healthcare bill ever actually became law. To see McConnell hoisted by his own petard by a revolt of the spineless Republican patsies who’ve meekly gone along with every heinous act of political heresy in the name of American plutocracy is just the icing on the cake."
