Death threats and threats of violence have scared countless election workers into quitting their jobs. The source of the threats are the MAGA troops. Since when should citizens in a democracy fear the once-anticipated election day? And even if many voters choose the mail-in option, endless litigation demanding recounts ad infinitum looms. And, "[i]n many key battleground states, supporters of Trump’s false election claims are running for secretary of state--a position that in most states gives them the power to oversee elections--and are continuing to sow doubt about the way elections are administered."
