After over 50 years of war, 220,000 victims and over 6 million people displaced, one of the oldest internal conflicts in the world came to an end. FARC and Colombian Government signed a definitive Peace Agreement in Havana, Cuba, on Aug. 24, 2016 - a historic day for Colombia - after almost 4 years of talks with Venezuela, Chile and Norway acting as mediators. Psdt Santos ordered to cease military actions against FARC immediately, submitted the Agreement to Colombian Congress and announced that the plebiscite on the Peace will take place on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2016. Many issues lie ahead: there are right-wing paramilitary still terrorizing people, while the talks with ELN, another left-wing guerrilla started by the priest Camilo Torres in the 60s, must start in Ecuador. But peace must come with justice: not only for the victims of the conflict, but for all the victims of social exclusion.
