The IRS is examining questionable practices at college endowment funds across the country. The biggest of these funds is Harvardà ‚¬ „ s, where questionable practices have coincided with Jack Mayer, Harvard Managementà ‚¬ „ s chief from 1990 to 2005, being paid as much as $7.2 million per year and some of Mayerà ‚¬ „ s staffers getting as much as $35 million over that period of time. |
